We started in 2018 to offer photography workshops and real-world experiences to Greater Pittsburgh enthusiasts, artists, and professionals in the photography community. Emerging from the Pittsburgh Filmmakers and PCAM educational centers, we offer one-day and multi-day photography experiences in South Western Pennsylvania and beyond. In Spring 2020, we launched Talking Photography N'at, an online virtual meet-up group we meet regularly on Zoom. Learn more here.

George Lange

Photographer & Educator

As a 7-year-old Pittsburgh kid, George Lange began snapping photos, exploring the world, and asking tons of questions. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, George worked for Duane Michals and Annie Leibovitz before establishing his own career. His work has appeared in Vogue, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Esquire, People and The New York Times, among other publications. He shot many of the iconic images from TV shows such as Friends, Frasier, Dawson’s Creek, and Seinfeld, as well as ads for TLC hit shows including Cake Boss and Honey Boo Boo, and corporate clients including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Twilio, and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. George’s first book, The Unforgettable Photograph: 228 Ideas, Tip and Secrets for Taking the Best Pictures of Your Life, sold more than 50,000 copies and spawned multiple foreign language editions. He moved back to Pittsburgh and lives in his childhood home with his wife and their two sons. His new book, "Picturing Joy - Stories of Connection" will be published in October. He is thrilled to be a part of this workshop.

Curtis Reaves

Photographer & Educator

Pennsylvania Fine Art Photographer, Curtis Reaves responsibly creates artful wall accents for residential and commercial environments. The foundation and uniqueness of his work is influenced by the process of envisioning the countless possibilities unearthed in discarded natural materials. Blurring the visual lines between paintings and photography, Reaves utilizes film, digital processes, and computer technology to transform his work into poetic abstract imagery.
